Unlocking with achievements
17 achievements hand out a cosmetic or an emote. Here is how that works.
How it works
Some achievements come with a reward: a hat, a trail, a hit effect, an intro or an emote. Each achievement unlocks at most one item, and 17 of them unlock something today. The Achievements page shows which, and how far along you are.
When you earn one, a message appears and you can wear the item right away. There is no need to reload.
What you can earn
Fighting is the way in: kills, round wins and streaks all have rewards, and so does inviting a friend to play with you. The Achievements page has the full list with the exact goals.
If you are a guest
Guests earn achievements too, but cannot wear the items yet. Sign up and your progress is merged into your account, which then gets everything you have already reached. Progress is kept per browser, so clearing your cookies or switching browser starts a guest over.
