What changes

For 20 seconds, every weapon drop becomes one weapon, and the banner names it. Weapons already in someone's hands stay as they are.

The weapon is one that can drop on that map and can hurt someone. It is never a blink or slow-field tool, and never a heavy weapon. Drops still follow their usual rules about where they land and who they land near.

How to survive

Read the banner and learn what that weapon is good at. Everyone will be using it, so your best counter is to know its reach and its weak spot.

Grab the next drop quickly, because everyone is racing for the same weapon.

When to vote for it

Vote for it when the survivors are unarmed, or stuck with weapons that don't suit the map.

You don't pick the weapon: it is drawn when the vote opens, so the crowd decides whether there is a party, not which weapon. A kill with a party weapon counts as a kill, but not toward that weapon's achievements, or its family's.
