Maps with Orbiting Platforms
Arenas where slabs circle a center like the cars of a wheel, carrying riders up and over.
An orbiting platform travels a circle around a center and stays level while it goes, so a locked ride holds you on at any speed. You can stand on one through a full lap and step off wherever the path passes another surface. Binary orbits two slabs around each of two black holes, and the two systems turn in opposite directions like gears, so the danger is the pull of the hole, not the slab. Ferris turns two wheels of four slabs, one every 12 s and one every 15 s, so they drift in and out of phase, and below them there is no floor to catch a fall.
Time your step to the next slab or perch, not to your own position. If you wait on the wrong slab, the lap carries you away from the fight.
