Maps with Loose Crates

Arenas built from physics crates you can climb, shoot loose and topple, along with whoever is standing on top.

Props are crates that start the round stacked as part of the map. Every face of a crate can be grabbed, so a tower is a climb with no stairs, and the stack is made of the same material as everything else: bullets and blasts tear it. Melee does not move a prop, so a rival can be knocked off a pillar while the pillar stays. Jenga has a flat floor and three towers, each a pair of tall pillars, where the fight begins in the bays and a pillar top is borrowed high ground. Falling crates hurt, and credit nobody. Crate Pit sets eight narrow pillars over a lava pit, where each one is both a perch and the way to the next.

Against a prop map, target the crates under a rival's feet. A good shot or a nearby explosion brings down the stack.
