Maps with Wind and Force Zones
Arenas with lanes of wind that lift fighters, push them down or carry them sideways.
A force zone is an area of air that pushes fighters, and only fighters: bullets and thrown weapons fly straight through. Updraft cuts the arena into four columns with three vertical wind lanes. The outer two lift you toward the steel cap and the center one pushes you down, so the lanes are how you get between tiers. Storm runs two horizontal jet streams across the middle, the low one carrying you right and the high one left, with nobody on a slab pushed, and adds three lightning columns that strike on a schedule and kill outright.
A lane is a way to travel, not a place to fight. Use it to cross or retreat, and shoot at a target who is being carried by it, aiming ahead of the push.
